About this event
Scenic ride through the Northern Kettle Moraine Forrest. Route follows county roads through Mauthe Lake, Tamarack Wetlands, Long Lake, the Milwaukee River low lands and Dundee with a stop at Parnell Tower. Be sure to bring your camera and climb the tower.
The top of the 60-foot wooden observation tower is the highest point of elevation in the Kettle Moraine State Forest. It offers a panoramic view of the forest and surrounding farmland. On a clear day, one can see about 25 miles.
Rest stops at the Exxon station in Dundee ( 3 miles ) and at Parnell Tower ( 12.5 miles ).
( Tower Park offers only Restrooms and water. )
Lunch / after ride social at The Beaver's Tail Bar and Grill in New Prospect.
( They are expecting us. ) Indoor and outdoor dining areas.
Park and set-up in the parking lot on the east side of the restaurant.
